Thank you for the tutorial! I'm hoping to use this for a project even though it isn't short rows of stitches. It knocks me out of my flow when I'm turning my work on this particular project, and it demotivates me from working on it. Hopefully, this can give me a push to finish it. Granted, I'll have to practice the technique first. I don't want to mess the project up. It's already fallen apart once before.

I crocheted a blanket with chenille. Washed very gently per instructions. The blanket wormed. I was able to unravel it and re-crocheted the entire thing. It still wormed, but way less then the first time. Maybe prewashing chenille yarn before knitting it is what we should do? Next time I want to combine a chenille yarn string with a second string of regular acrylic yarn. Chenille is beautiful but can be frustrating!

Nice but Ummm now what do you do with it🤷‍♀️ I'm a crocheter lol want to learn knitting help? Lol kind of 1 handed heard square needles are great for needed grip. But can't find but 1 set and they are crazy expensive. Any idea? By the way you made that very clear .. SWEET! HAVE A BLESSED DAY

Thanks for your question! When you crochet, you can always just crochet into the stitches that have already been fastened off but sometimes when you are knitting, you need to keep your stitches "live," which means not fastened off. This is especially helpful if you will later be knitting the opposite direction but you don't want a seam from stitches that have been bound off. It is also helpful to use a provisional cast on if you plan to finish that edge with a special finishing technique such as the kitchener stitch. There are many uses for provisional cast ons but usually the designer will tell us in the pattern if one is needed. As for needles, every person has a different preference as to needle shape and needle material. Some people prefer square needles and some prefer round needles. Some people prefer wooden needles and others prefer metal. If you'd like to try square needles, you are in luck because we have square needles in both wooden and metal! You can search for "square needles" on our website and several choices will come up. We hope you can find a set that fit into your budget!

Wouldn’t work for me, people who work on one project until it’s done could use it and that is not me. Plus it looks really wound tight???

Oh my God, I can’t believe for some reason on the double wrapping stitch I was able to follow and then I was also able to drop the stitch on the next round but for some reason now I think I might’ve dropped a stitch and did not knit it. Is there a video that shows how to save it?

never tried this yarn but I just started a few weeks ago as well. I make a cross shoulder mens bag. But the yarn is fraying and fuzzing up a lot. I used the stonewashed dark gray “I love This Yarn” brand from Hobby Lobby. But definitely looking forward to using this brand!

Holy Cow that is a lot of trouble. If I'd not already seen James Cox's simplified crochet hook version I'd have walked away no matter how pretty or stretchy this cast on is.😊
